I've never tried an all boar bristle brush on Katie, but i have the Chris Christensen Andreas Nylon/Boar bristle brush, and I love it. I use it along with Chris. Christensen gold and wooden pin brushes and a Madan pin brush, too. I love it on my own hair, too. It's similar in type to Mason Pearson. Katie has a very thick silk coat, and is don't find it breaking her hair.
