Diet is not the only factor in pancreatitis. I have learned this much over the years....they really do not know all of the causes.

Gizmo has a history of calcium oxylate stones. When he had pancreatitis last year I opted to do a nutritional consult and home cook for him; but he had issues with the home cooked diet after a few months, so he went back on the rx food .. Urinary SO. He has been ok until suddenly this morning.

It is not always the fault of the owner. Trust me when I tell you they don't get anything in this home that is a well known food to cause pancreatitis.
