I totally agree. I told the breeder I respected her decision after hearing the little one was afraid of cats. Her best interest has to be what matters. I myself always promote harmony amongst my pets and expect all to get along as best as possible. I would not bring in a cat hater dog to my environment and also would not tolerate my cats stocking or scratching a dog...I worked hard with Wallee on a tether when he was a pup to teach him to be nice to the kitties...All but one of my cats are great even with visiting cats...the other, a bit cranky and hisses at Wallee however has never attempted to hit him....her hiss is enough for him to run a huge circle around her. Since the others are so passive however, Wallee still has some behaviour problems with how to treat them at times. He will always lie in wait if he hears them downstairs in their litter and bump them hard and bark as they try to come up. If we see him go lay there we will go put a gate up to keep him back as the one he bumps most often will try to walk along the outside of the railing along the edge to try to avoid being bumped.....grrrr... if he bumped this kitty here he could fall down to the basement.
