That's a really good point. I think our dogs would leave no doubt who the real owner is. Plus, you could prove it by predicting tricks or words they know, etc. I've seen my dogs shaved and longer, so while I couldn't prove it with a picture, I'd have a pretty darn good suspicion.

But how could you tell people on Craigslist what to look for? Either have a picture of them clipped or photoshop their face on a short-haired body, saying "This is what he might look like if the thieves shaved him.
