There have been a lot of missing/stolen yorkies in our area. Apparently people are stealing the dog's and shaving them down where they don't look the same and selling them on Craigs List.
Someone thought a York listed was theirs but said no it couldn't be because it was shaved down. Turned out it was their Yorkie. They only got the dog back because the person who bought the dog was honest enough and had the dog scanned.
