To me, this looks more like pyoderma (staph intermedius), which is very common in dogs - Wylie's pyoderma looks exactly like this, and like KJC's picture. That said, ringworm presents differently in dogs than in humans, so it can manifest differently (not always showing a ring at all). I'd def get it checked out asap. For pyoderma, they usually give Simplicef x 30 days.
