LOL You should be thankful you weren't born in Asia than. Asian women (Koreans/Chinese/etc) are expected to live with the husband's family after marriage. They are also expected to take over any house work like cooking and cleaning. Thankfully, this "tradition" is changing or at least that's what I'm hearing.

There IS a reason for this way of living but then, I'd be blabbing about the entire history so I'll just stop here.

It's really expensive to live here too. But I don't want to move to anywhere else. I wish more people would move away instead. LOL
