Yeah, we are just renting a room with bf's family right now. We looked into renting our own place a few years ago and any place that's decent in Orange county is like $2000/mo. Just ridiculous. And any house to buy that wasn't totally in the ghetto was like $500k+ and not even all that. We got a brand new place in Vegas (in a new community right next to the nicer part of town) for less than $250k. 2300sq ft on 3 floors with a roof top deck. And we still have money to furnish and do the backyard.
