For some reason, I thought LV would be just as expensive. o_O Is it really that much cheaper there?

I so know what you mean about living with family! We just moved out of a house we rented from my MIL for years. She use to come and park her camper in our backyard anytime she felt like it and suck our electricity and hook up to our internet. That may sound mean but she stayed for months at a time. Never any notice. Its like she thought because she rented the place to us she had a convenient place to stay whenever she wanted. It drove me nuts. We finally got our own place after too much stress that it caused... mostly me. Who wants to live with their MIL though. ugg. |
LOL You should be thankful you weren't born in Asia than. Asian women (Koreans/Chinese/etc) are expected to live with the husband's family after marriage. They are also expected to take over any house work like cooking and cleaning. Thankfully, this "tradition" is changing or at least that's what I'm hearing.
There IS a reason for this way of living but then, I'd be blabbing about the entire history so I'll just stop here.
It's really expensive to live here too.
But I don't want to move to anywhere else. I wish more people would move away instead. LOL
