I live with my mom and grandmom, Lola loves all 3 of us and likes to have time with each of us. She's my dog though and she has to know where I am.
If I'm within sight she's ok or if she knows I'm doing something boring she'll sit with someone else.
My mom and I had her at a store in her stroller, my mom was pushing her and she kept looking back to make sure I was there. She was more comfortable when I pushed her.
If we're at someone elses house I have to make it 100% clear I'm not going anywhere or she'll get afraid that I'm going to leave her and glue herself to me.
She also doesn't like it when people joke about stealing her. She totally understands what they're saying.
We've had a few other yorkies too, all of them had one main person but loved the rest of the family too.
I'd say it isn't a problem as long as he doesn't freak out for more than a few minutes when you leave. My grandmom's poodle had major seperation anxiety and she'd howl the whole time she was gone. OMG it was horrible. |
