I am approximately the same height and weight as you but add 32 years; 2+ weeks ago, I started a workout program. I love food and drink, so my goal is to burn more calories than I take in. I don't really want to change my eating habits, so now, every morning after work, I sweat for 30 minutes. I have lost about 6 lbs so far. Not great, but my goal is 160lbs by May.
Good luck! Would like to hear your progress. I will agree with everyone who has said that the older you get, the harder it is to get back off.
