I just don't know what else to do? Rex goes potty where ever he feels like. He does ALL his business ALL over my house!!! It's a constant battle. I "try" to train him and I clean up his messes, all day everyday Please HELP
Rex is my first dog, I've always had a cat. I lost my kitty after 18 wonderful years together. My baby boy needed a new friend not a replacement kitty. Sooo, we bought Rex! He's just as cute and sweet as he can be. But thinks my house is one big puppy pad

welcome to YT, yorkies (terrier breed) takes more time to train, I read training should be no longer then 5 minutes due to they have a short concentration span (terriers were breed to hunt vermin) yorkies are high energy breed. When my babies were just puppies I limited to how much area they had. Try confining him to an area where he is closer to where he's supposed to do his business. You do not say if you are training on wee wee pads or training to go out doors, also did not say how old he is, or how long you have him. Please be patient, he will get it. Some yorkies train faster then others. When he does do his business where he's supposed to, make a big fuss, praise, praise, praise, do the happy dance, clap your hands, give a treat. Yorkies love to please. Every time he hits the mark make a bigggg fuss. As the day goes on you will get more advise, so keep checking in.
