| this is SOME not all info I received from a online nutrittion for anyone interested this is from a on line nutrittionist Donia Alawi Info@eczema-natural-healing.com Also about white rice, sugars from cooked white rice do not burn clean. They burn incompletely in the body because they are lacking many nutrients like enzymes and minerals. The sugar molecule from white rice for example is not broken down to its most fundamental components but rather, into pieces that carry two or three of the six atoms (carbon atoms) of which the sugar was made. The two-unit product is alcohol and the three-unit product is lactic acid. From eating cooked grains, a dog's intestinal tract will make alcohol in the intestines every day. The dog's body must burn the alcohol as it can not save it as in the case of lactic acid. Alcohol interferes with the primary function of many different enzymes, especially enzymes called cytochrome P450 that are the main workers in the body’s detoxification system (liver). __________________________________________________ _________________________________ What kind of water do you give your dog; spring, tap, or distilled? Refrigerated tap Tap water is highly toxic. You want to see what's toxic about it, then do this expirement. To test tap water, pour in a white bowl the water you want to test, about 1/2 of the bowl. Let it evaporate naturally (takes about 2 weeks). Do it one more time. Then see what residue is left in the bowl once the water is evaporated. If the bowl is still white, then the water is clean. If the bowl has discoloration, then you don't want to use that water. The discoloration is usually chemical residue. I would highly suggest that you give your dog spring water, and hopefully your grocery carries quality spring water like Fiji. I know it is an added expense but it is part of healing and removing any stresses on the digestive system. __________________________________________________ ___________________________________ Does your dog have any skin related problems (itching, dry flaky skin.....etc.) Itching skin The skin is a reflection of your dog's internal organs and how healthy or unhealthy he is. The skin is the mirror of what's happening in the deeper layers of the body. If your dog's detoxification organs (intestine, liver, kidney) are doing their proper daily job of detoxification and they are not overburdened (congested), then the skin will feel soft, and look beautiful (no itching or infections). The skin is the largest elimination organ and it'll take over the burden of elimination when your dog's detoxification organs are congested and cannot do their job specifically in the intestinal tract. When the dog's detoxification system is congested, the following conditions; allergies, candida and a leaky gut, can produce uncomfortable symptoms that can develop into skin conditions. oven. From the studies of the late Freeman Cope (MD and biochemist) and others, it has been shown that water is "structured". This structure is altered in the electromagnetic environment of the microwave oven. The best cure for Cody's skin is to change the diet and get the detox system working better through whole food supplements. __________________________________________________ ___________________________________ Do you microwave your pet's meals? warm refrigerated food for 11 seconds Microwave changes the molecular structure of foods and water so anything that is heated by a microwave becomes toxic to the body. The violent change that microwaving causes to the food molecules creates new life forms called radiolytic compounds. These are mutations that are unknown in the natural world. Ordinary cooking also causes the formation of some radiolytic compounds, which is no doubt one reason why it is better to feed your pet plenty of raw food, but microwave cooking causes a much greater number of these compounds. This then causes deterioration of the blood and immune system. In addition, they found that the number of leucocytes increases after feeding pets microwaved food-something which hematologists take very seriously, because this is often a sign of highly harmful effects, such as poisoning. Also, after feeding microwave food, cholesterol levels increased. Please do not even heat water in a microwave
