I have a question about microwaving dog food. I often add pumpkin, some home cooked (a recipe that is vet approved) to my Sam's science hill kidney kibble.. and warm it up. Is that bad? |
I got rid of my microwave oven when I learned how dangerous it is to eat microwaved food. A lot of people I have talked to about mictowaved food experience digestive issues when eating anything microwaved.
Plastic is especially dangerous to nuke with food and metal is out, of course. Oh, and nuking veggies creates plant alkaloids even if you only defrost...dangerous for any length of time, as I understand it.
Chlorine is bad to consume...better to boil water to kill microbes unless it is an emergency...like a flood or hurricane to my knowledge.
