 I think your all right
I moved the heating pad to only cover half of the box and that seems to have done the trick, atleast for now! I have noticed that she doesnt want to leave the babies to eat so I have started putting her food right beside her bed and she will get up and eat. She does go out long enough to potty and it's right back in like lightening. I have to say for my 1st time EVER having puppies Shelbie is a wonderful mother. Although I would never want to do this again. I am alot more nervous than Shelbie is, I think! This afternoon she did come to me without any persuasion and got in my lap for a little "Shelbie Time". She got a bath, blow dry and brushed for about 30 minutes and she seemed to love getting her share of the attention. I will keep you all updated on the babies and post more pics very soon.
