What a hard decision to make. I am so very sorry that you and your family are in this situation. I can't advise because I've never been there, done that and some things it's really hard to know what I'd do if I were in your position. I would have a good ole heart to heart with the vet, ask the difficult question, "If you were wearing my shoes what would you do". I'd take the vet's advice home and discuss the situation with the family and make it a "family decision". All I know is that I'll be keeping you and your little one in my thoughts and prayers and will be watching for an update. |
