I am not sure what the big deal is about heating dog food/ formula in the microwave except:
**heating in some plastic containers causes the plastic to leak harmful chemicals into the food.... So I heat in glass bowls!
**you get "hot spots" in the food, and while it may be nicely warm in one spot, it is scalding on the bottom. I always stir anything I am heating for my dogs, with my finger, so I know and evenly disperse the "hot spots"....
I also heat gently, 10 seconds at a time....
If there is another concern about heating in the microwave, I need to know! Please share! |
