I have a question about microwaving dog food. I often add pumpkin, some home cooked (a recipe that is vet approved) to my Sam's science hill kidney kibble.. and warm it up. Is that bad? |
I was in touch with an on line nutritionist who advised NO NOT MICRO WAVE the dogs food. I use my lap top when I come on YT, the nutritionist info I have on my desk top. I can see if I can copy what she wrote, sometimes micro soft windows will not allow me to copy things from on line. What she wrote about micro waving dogs food made 100% sense to me, Cody was eating cooked rice, I would boil one cup of rice, that makes a lot of cooked rice lol, at meal time I took his portion out of the frig, nooked it for 10 seconds only, well I stopped micro waving, used the ole fashion way lol, fry pan on stove. I will see later today if I can copy this about micro waving. Until I can do this, I would advise you not to micro wave anything for your pup, put it in a small fry pan to warm it up.
