Mirtazapine does work with some. I have had great success and not so great success with it.
The first time I used it was with a pup who was in renal failure. Cody was very, very sick and my vet put him on it. It was amazing! He started eating the next day and eating everything I gave him! He only lived another six months but at the rate he was going he would not have lived much longer. He would not eat anything prior to taking it.
I have used it like I said and not had great success...sometimes it works and sometimes not; but when it works it is great!
