 Various Issues
A couple things I am dealing with these days:
#1 Sadie has suddenly decided she is going to sit on the couch and whine for no apparent reason. If I don't pay attention to her and ignore the behavior she gets louder and louder. This goes on for hours at a time. She is fed, pottied, and doesn't want to be loved, because when I pick her up she gets right back down and walks away! Very annoying!! She will eventually give up and start playing again. Any thoughts???
#2 She jumps on me very hard. Sadie is a "big" size yorkie, 12.5 pounds of solid dog. She jumps on me so hard I am bruising. Not sure how to teach her not to pounce on me?
#3 She will not leave me alone when I try to sit down to eat. I can't get her to stay down on the floor. She keeps jumping up on me and trying to get the food out of my hand. I am very firm with her but we are getting nowhere. In fact, it is getting worse. Do I just listen to her shrieking in the kennel while we eat our dinner? |
