I do recall our previous dogs, especially our Cockapoo, needing to go more frequently as they aged. Both dogs required medication for incontinence in their senior years. They were girls though, and I think this is more common in girls. |
Deuce is a little "pee pee" boy too. I keep a pee pad in the laundry room just in case but he always has to go if something exciting happens during the day that interrupts his napping in the front window. Like the mailman, another dog walking past the house, a bird on the telephone lines, the cat next door or any random suspicious person he happens not to like.
