Why dont you say NO -hisnamehere- firmly and put him down on the floor again. If he runs to the maltese again, pick him-Your yorkie- up and take him to another room he is allowed in (make sure he has no access to get out!) and walk away without doing anything like getting his toys to play with or stroking him before you leave. Remember this is a punishment not a holiday for him. If you mean you pull him onto your lap once you have told him no dont do it! This is what he will think. okay i had my punishment but now she is gona give me cuddles After 10 minutes he has been in the other room let him in and if he still does it say NO -hisnamehere- Not good! and tap his nose ( firm but gentle so it doesnt hurt him, just gives him a small shock ). I am not sure what to do if this still goes on but im sure you will get some more great suggestions.
Hope all goes well for you!
