They have grown up together, abby is a year old and lallas is 14 months, but abby is much more stocky and stronger than lallas so I'm stressed that she will hurt her. Abby is normally a happy puppy. Has this happened to anyone else and what could I do? Abby has been on heat, she isn't pregnant but her nipples are swollen, so that is also stressing me out, could this be why she is attacking lallas?
I've been having trouble too but with my male intact dog and the spayed females. He has been very aggressive with the one he is the closest to, biting her around the head and not letting go. I also have financial issues as one of my females has a bunch of health problems that are very urgent so I have put off having the male castrated. I wonder tho' if after the operation he might not give up his old ways and continue to intimidate the girls. Anybody have any experience with personality change after castration?
