I know, I was surprised at how good they are on the pads too, but we have a routine...wake up, go on the pad, eat, go on the pad...and any time I see a 'spill' on their bedding, I change it for clean bedding right away and they start to develop a real sense of where they should and should go. We had a lot of changes the first day or so, but now their bed stays pretty clean. I also keep the pad where they've gone before or try to transfer some of the scent onto a new pad when a clean one is needed. Their little noses help them keep track of the right place to go when they're out on the carpet and there's only 1 pee pad on what otherwise looks like a gigantic pad (the carpet).
On another note...tape worm??? Wow...and yes...yucky!
