I hope it goes well w/ the Derm. Vet Derms are so amazing, I just love ours - super smart and so skilled diagnostically. It sounds like he had pyoderma then, if antibios cleared it up...? Pyoderma is def allergy related...Wylie always gets a few bouts a year, poor kiddo.

For year round allergies, your choices are usually: OTC antihistamines, Temaril-P, Atopic, Apoquel, or allergy testing and desensitization

For seasonal allergies (certain pollens etc), you usually use: OTC antihists. Temaril P, steroids

Vet derms usually recommend allergy dog be on a fish oil as it's anti-inflammatory. I like Ark NaturalsArk Naturals , as I like the way it's formulated.
