I love what you said, Kristin, about our very passionate and compassionate Yorkietalkjilly. Jeanie, you made an impression on me from the moment you joined YT. You always stand up for the pups here, and you are a strong voice advocating for both pups and the people who love them. You stand firm urging others to do the right thing, and it's a mantra that you live by. We are so lucky that you are here.
I am reading The Little Prince with my students, and it's a story that has particular importance to me because it reminds me so much of my special little roses, my babies at the Rainbow Bridge and Katie, too. But it also reminds me of people in my life that I have grown to love dearly. The little prince learns a valuable lesson about friendship from a fox he meets in the Sahara Desert. The fox teaches him about how ties are created and asks the prince to tame him. I feel like you have tamed us, Jeanie, because you are so devoted to the people and pups of YorkieTalk. You have spent so much time with us, and you have grown very dear to us. I won't forget the sound of your voice or the love and wisdom you impart here.
Please get well soon. You are never far from my thoughts, and I will continue praying for you. I feel so fortunate that you have tamed me and that I have come to know you.
