She's also I think a size 2 but her weight puts her in a size 3 which is what I got her but the legs are a little big I think as the material doesn't lay flat when on. |
Sounds like the Size 3 harness is too big on her. It should hug the body, and lay flat. Use the chest measurement and not weight. Measure chest girth snug.
It is perfectly fine to leave it on in the house if she is comfortable. My boys will keep theirs on and even nap in them when we know we are going back out within an hour or two (we often run errands a few times a day).
