 Max's Itchy Skin
Count Max on the list of allergy dogs! About 6 months ago he started getting little tiny bumps on the lower part of his back. Unable to reach it with his paws he was constantly biting at it and wetting the affected area. He also rubbed his body on furniture to find some relief. Of course I took him to the vet to find out that it was an "environmental thing". I didn't get any answers but the antibiotics cleared it up beautifully. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when he started getting the bumps again! Ugh. They are little bumps that are dry and resemble scabs. No food or any type of changes in his activity.
We have an appointment with a dermatologist next week. Wish us luck so that we can figure out what's bothering my giant itchy Yorkie. Does this sound familiar to anyone? |
