Did the vet check her anal glands? Shaking is usually a sign of pain, if she was truly afraid of you I think she would run away from you. Did the vet do any blood work?
Is the splint removable? Is it white? Have you let her look at it closely? When it's in, if it makes you look like you're 'showing your teeth', this could have scared her. Just work to reassure her that all is okay and that you're sorry. |
