Depending upon how thick the hair is you might have to wrap it as much as four times. At bedtime I gently pull it back to loosen it and rub her scalp some which she almost purrs and goes to sleep during.
Glad it is working for you. I think it is at wal mart that they even have sparkly scrunchies.
