I have flown Spirit,once and my experience was not so great.
The airline tickets are not expensive but they charge you additional for a lot of things my regular airline does not (Delta being my normal airline). Example they charge you for carry on luggage, a bottle of water cost additional, $10 to print a boarding pass.
My biggest problem was my flight was delayed for a really long time and they did not have a toll free number to call and the gate agent as not helpful. I had to go back out to the ticket agent, rebook and then through security again.
