What flooring do you guys have? I like the feel of carpet but it's inevitable I will drop pins. and then I will step on them. Plus being an Asian household, no shoes worn inside. We are putting in wood floors in the kitchen/great room, which is the same level as my work room. Just wondering should I also put in the wood then add in some cushion mats to stand on or just leave it carpet?
