Does he take monthly heartworm protection like heartgard or something? If so, it's not likely to be a parasite. You could always have a fecal done to be sure but it sounds like he strained when going and had a little tear. If he's ok, i would prob just watch him. If he has bloody diarrhea that's a concern and he should be seen. If also keep him out of harms way with eating stuff he shouldn't by crating or keeping him in a small safe area.
