I don't know why the Madan is so good, but it is. I've used the A1 Systems pin brush for years and thought it was good till I bought the Madan a couple of weeks ago. Ordered from Topline with prompt delivery. A show breeder of Cotons, when I had my girl, told me about the Mason Pearson nylon tangle brush (for humans). It's a great brush for wet hair after bathing. It gets tangles out without pulling or breaking Finley's hair.
