One thing to always remember is it is hair it will grow back. Callie has had some terrible hair cuts before but I try to just tell myself it will grow back. I remember something I read one time that you should not act upset when you pick them up from the groomer even if they look terrible because it can make them feel like they (the dog) did something wrong so I just take Callie and make over how happy I am to see her even if the hair looks bad. It does take awhile to get used to though I remember her first hair cut she went from all this fluffy puppy hair to none they had to shave her because I did not do the best job with her puppy hair I didn't realize how bad it can mat and that you need to make sure your brushing/combing all the way to the skin. After it started growing back in though it was so much silkier and didn't tangle at all.
