ok, he said she has a slight vaginal infection, doesn't think it is serious. He said her temp is only elevated 1 degree, so we caught it in time. I told him that they had mated, he said it may have took, but only time will tell. If so we will watch her more closely. Most likely the infection developed after they bred. He gave her an antibiotic shot and a 14 day round of Amoxil. She is sleeping right now. He said she should be doing better in a day or so. If she isn't better by Fri, call him. Appetite should increase pretty quick. I am going to get her some nutrical anyhow.
He reccommended that we wait to see if she has pups, then probably need to spay her.
He thinks that she will have more frequent infections if we don't.
The good thing is that she is gonna be ok.
