just reading this now, welcome to YT, glad you found us, and LOL your life will never be the same. I too have had yorkies since about 1985. The longest I went without a pup was about a year, right before I got my Lola. I also got rid of everything and said NO more pups. But a year later felt our house was to quite and too lonely (it's just me and husband, we don't have any of our own kids). I wanted something similar but not exact, so I wound up with a yorkie mix, and a girl, where I had had mostly males. Not a day goes by that my husband and I don't say out loud how crazy we are about our little girl and how life is just so much better with her in it. I am so glad that your vet called you and that you both rescued each other. |
