The wonders of fiber for large bowel work in both people and dogs. It is unfortunate that some companies (and pet chat room groupies) refer to fiber as "fillers" in dog food while others are focusing on smaller stool volumes. As these two trends or fads have taken hold, we have been getting more consults concerning IBS and anal gland problems.
