Hmmm...I've never had issues with loose stools or diarrhea from canned food with Toki and that's pretty much most of what she eats and I switch frequently. How much did you top Franklin's food with? Maybe he needs a smaller amount to start with or perhaps this food just doesn't agree with him if he's more sensitive to food changes.
