I wasn't trying to make it sound like a fortune yes you can get low cost vacines I know that there are places that will give you vacines, heartworm test, dewormer, and rabies for $55.00.but keep in mind the cheapest heartworm treatment is heart guard that runs you at least 35.00 for 6 months. Plus flea preventative add another 40 every 3 months. Food let's say another 20.00 a month. Other things crate, wee pads, shampoo, ext. what about dental health? If you don't get dental health you will have a baby with no teeth before 5. Or a expense to pull teeth that are hurting. What about insurance in case of a emergency? Do you have the funds for a full emergency? So yes my point is a fur baby needs these things. Check if you have funds. I would feel bad for a homeless having a pup that is starving. As to people having baby's when they are poor I believe they will probably get public assistance the government dosent let kids suffer hunger or shelter. But there is no public assistance for dogs. They shouldn't have to suffer or die young because you don't have the funds. I believe you do love your pup but there is a lot of people surrendering dogs just because they can get expensive, not potty trained, poor socialization or just because they are not little and cute anymore. Kids grow up and do for them self but dogs are always dependent on you for life.
