I wouldn't worry too much about the blood - it's not too unusual for a dog to have some gum bleeding when chewing hard - especially if they're teething. Of course if it happens all the time in an adult dog, you'd want to have those gums checked out well.

Sometimes a puppies ears will go floppy when they're teething really badly, btw. Interesting, huh? Do you want them to stand? If so, you may want to tape them if they don't stand up again soon...
