You can tell a very bad bite early...4 weeks or so, maybe ealrier..in fact you do not need teeth to see if the gums are even or way off.. those are the really bad misaligned jaws. A slightly over or under really is nothing to be concerned about unless you want a breed/show potential..and at 10 weeks you can see the bites very well..but this is what makes it a guessing game..a perfect bite at 10 weeks does not guarantee a perfect bite at adulthood...the adult teeth must come in to actually know 100%..but a doggie dentist can look at show pups mouth and pull any teeth that might help an "iffy" bite.
