Default puppies again.

We recieved a pregnant poodle about a month ago, an owner surrender. Mom did great and pups are now 2 weeks old.Almost tripled weight. 2of 4 eyes now open. Last week we ent to the shelter to pull dogs for the rescue and pick up 4 doxies. I fell.in love with a little terrier mix. Tried to take her but the card said she had a medical hold. They confirmed that she was pregnant. The policy at this shelter(no the employees idea) is to euthanize pregnant females unless a rescue will foster. They brought her to me the next day. We had n appointment for xrays because they thought she had 2-3 weeks left. I wrnt to bed monday morning around 1 am. My dane , Sage, woke me up.around 5 going after something in the closet. I checked and say my daughters bengal cat in the welping box so I just put Sage outside.Had a few appointments and got back aroud 11am. Wad greeted by all the dogs including my new foster. Heard a sound in the closet and there were 3 beautiful puppies in the box, already dry. I think the cat was protecting them. He loves kittens and always cleans when we have to bottle feed kittens. So now I have 4 poodle pups and 3 adorable terrier mix puppies. The female doxie I have is also due next week. Lot of work and worry but fun. And yes everyone will be spayed and we do spay if its early enough. I have learned to trust myself. I thought she was due earlier since her labia was qite swollen and nipples were full , but unable to express milk. I know I was very lucky that it was a good delivery. The puppies are small3.3-4.5 ounces which helped since we haven't a clue who dad is.
