Oh, my two hates it too. The only thing is, they'll put up with the dremel but will go bonkers if I bring out the clipper. I think it also helped that they got somewhat used to the dremel at the groomers. I do couple nails at a time and giving them treats in between.
My biggest issue was Magnus's dewclaw because it wasn't getting grind on the walks. Now I just get them grind down slightly every couple days just to get him more used to it.
