I have a good size yard, by the next summer I felt so bad that my babies did not have the freedom to run loose, I purchased rabbit fencing, 28 inches high, it's just about invisible, this kept my dogs inside the yard, and allowed me to be able to still have my wooded area. Maybe DH would agree to that type of fencing.
