Yes, the breeder may recommend, but the vet did not. The recommendation from the vet was to wait till 7 months, so that all the adult teeth were in. This way if any baby teeth needed to be removed, they would do it during the neuter. This saves having to put them under twice. For this reason it was good I waited, because apparently Leo is going to need a few extracted
