SO sorry to hear that. And at 2 years old as well - that's so young! It's practically a puppy.
I know it's no consolation but just think of what a happy little life she had! And all the good times you shared. And right now lovely Isabella is 'up there', chewing away to her heart's content on a sirloin steak and you'll see her again someday! And - sorry for the language - but I'd tell the family member who criticised your grief for Bella to f*ck right off!
When you get a dog it instantly becomes a part of your family, and if it doesn't then you don't deserve to have a lovely little doggy. Dogs love you unconditionally and your love for them should be the same. Your grief for Bella is not 'over the top' AT ALL, it just shows what a devoted owner you are! Lots of love! xxxx
