So my little Bianca has now been on antibiotics for 10 days and is still exhibiting the same symptoms. She's still peeing in her crate every couple of days and she's still having accidents in my house after having been outside less than an hour prior. I called my vet to see if she possibly needs to be on a different antibiotic and they are so caught up on the fact that it is abnormal for young puppies to get UTIs and are refusing to see her to do a urine sample, culture and sensitivity test. They told me I should wait until she's peeing red blood and then bring her in. She's four months old and during the day I don't leave her more than 5 hours (usually only four) and at night she's in her crate about 6 hours. I tried making her crate smaller over the weekend and she's still messing in it. Am I leaving her too long? Sometimes she pees in the crate when I'm only gone for 2-3 hours. Should I try to get into another vet? I am nervous to let it go in case she does still have the UTI. But maybe there's something else with crate training that I need to try? Any suggestions, advice or feedback are welcome!
