I don't think so although all dogs are different. My yorkie baby is not fixed he is 2 when he goes outside he marks everything even my other dog (jeez) but inside he never marks. Good luck on the bell I used the trick speak when I was training so now when my 3 need to go potty they go by the door and bark.
