[Princes mom]

I have a neighbor who has the prettiest flowers on her deck. Nothing else anywhere is blooming because of the ice/snow situation a week ago. She told me that they all all artificial, and she choose to use artificial because of all of the bees/wasps,yellow jackets we have in the spring, summer and fall. I always plant annuals every spring, and battle with the flying, stinging insects throughout the season. She may have a good idea; I've never heard of artificial flowers outside.
